Privacy Policy

Effective November 6, 2026

This policy explains what information Stratap (“the game”) uses, why it does, and what you can do about it. “We” and “us” mean the makers of the game. If you have a question, write to hi@stratap.com.

1. Information the game uses

  • Google account. You play signed in with your Google account. When you sign in, Google gives us your Google account ID, name and email address, and we create a player account for you with a random player ID, so your account follows you to other devices. We never receive your Google password.
  • Player name. Your player name starts as the name on your Google account; you can change it in the game once every 30 days. Other players can see it.
  • Game data. When you last changed your name, and your own game settings, kept with your account so they follow you to another device: aim and turn sensitivity, crosshair, the layout of the touch controls, gyroscope aim, the FPS and ping readouts, which hand holds the weapon and which side the stick is on, and whether you have seen the tutorial.
  • Match data. For each match: who played, on which team, kills, deaths, ping, and counts of your shots (shots fired, hits, headshots and how your aim moved before a hit), whether you stayed to the end, the result, and the XP it gave you; your level follows from your XP.
  • Activity. The days you open the game and how many matches you finish on each of them, and for each match how many players it had; when the game last connected, its version, and your phone’s model and Android version; how long the game is open each time you play; how far you got in the tutorial (each lesson learned or skipped, and how long it took), and how long you practise in the range. We use these to count players and matches and to find what is hard or broken in the game.
  • Feedback. The messages you send us from the game (SEND FEEDBACK in the settings): what you wrote, whether it is a bug, an idea or something else, the game’s version and your phone’s model. Moderators read them to fix and improve the game.
  • Reports and moderation. If a player reports you, or you report a player, we keep who reported whom, the reason you picked and the match data above. We also keep moderators’ warnings, bans, notes and the record of what they did.
  • Device check. Each time the game starts, Google Play Integrity tells us whether it is the unmodified game from Google Play on a genuine device. We keep when your session last passed.
  • Connection data. When the game connects to our service providers’ servers, they receive your IP address and basic technical details of the connection, as any online service does, and use them to run and protect their services. To stop abuse we keep a scrambled form of the addresses that were refused by our limits, and the addresses we blocked.
  • Device statistics. The Unity engine the game is built with sends anonymous hardware and software statistics (such as device model, operating system and graphics chip) to Unity Technologies, which uses them to improve the engine.
  • Settings on your device. Sound, vibration, graphics and frame rate settings, and the gyroscope calibration, are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

The game shows no ads and does not use an advertising ID, your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. We do not sell or rent your information.

2. How we use it

  • To sign you in and create your account.
  • To show your player name in the game.
  • To put you in rooms and matches, and show the score.
  • To keep the game fair and secure: to detect cheating and abuse, and for moderators to look at reports. Unusual match data only puts a match in front of a moderator; a person decides, nothing bans you automatically.
  • To see how many people play and come back, so we know what to improve. We look at totals, not at what one player does.
  • To answer your questions and requests.

We use your information because it is needed to provide the game you asked for, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping it secure and fair.

3. Service providers

These companies process your information for us, under their own privacy policies, and may do so in countries other than yours:

  • Cloudflare: runs the game’s account service (Cloudflare Workers and its D1 database, which store your account and game data) and the service that puts players into matches, keeps anonymous match statistics without player IDs (Workers Analytics Engine, about three months), and hosts this website. The website uses no cookies; Cloudflare Web Analytics counts its page visits and the sites visitors came from, without cookies and without identifying visitors. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
  • Google: Google sign-in, Google Play for distributing the game, and Play Integrity for the device check. Google Privacy Policy
  • Edgegap: runs the match servers, which receive your player ID, player name and IP address while you play a match. Edgegap Privacy Policy
  • Unity Technologies: receives the anonymous device statistics described above. Unity Privacy Policy

4. How long we keep it

We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. Activity is kept for about 13 months (400 days), then deleted. When you delete your account, the account, its game data, its activity, your feedback, and the reports and match flags about you or filed by you are deleted. The moderators’ record of what they did keeps your player ID, and a report about another player can keep your player ID, name and scores from that match; we keep these so that bans and decisions can be checked. System logs of our service providers that contain your player ID are kept for a limited time under their own policies.

5. Deleting your account

In the game: on the main menu, tap your name at the top to open your profile, then tap DELETE ACCOUNT and confirm twice. Your account and its game data are deleted right away.

Without the game: follow the steps on the account deletion page to ask us by email.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union or the KVKK in Türkiye), you can ask us to access, correct, delete or give you a copy of your information, or object to how we use it. Write to hi@stratap.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The game is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, write to hi@stratap.com and we will delete it.

8. Security

The game talks to our service providers over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only we and those providers can reach your data.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also say so in the game or on its Google Play page.
